Its sensor also easily achieves an impressive dynamic range of approximately 15 stops with the files being recorded in raw, JPEG or 10-bit HEIF format.
BIONZ XR Processor
The Sony A7 IV has been installed the BIONZ XR engine which gives it high-speed image processing abilities with up to 4K video recording as well an advanced AF tracking performance. Its sensor and processor enables up to 10 fps shooting. You can either use the mechanical or electronic shutter as well as AF/AE enabled. Its buffer permits recording up to 828 consecutive uncompressed raw + JPEG frames when yo are using a CFexpress Type A card.
